Freedom of the Seas

Cinque è il numero di crociere che ho fatto in 27 anni e otto sono i paesi visitati con ben quattro compagnie differenti.La voglia di salpare per una crociera, però, è ancora tanta infatti sarei pronta a partire anche domani!Lo scorso 9 Giugno a Napoli ho avuto l’opportunità di visitare la Freedom of the Seas, una delle navi della compagnia Royal Carribbean, per me la migliore nel campo delle crociere in tutto il mondo.

Ho provato la Costa e la MSC ma devo dire che non sono per niente all’altezza della bellezza e di tutti i servizi che una nave del marchio americano Royal Carribbean può offrire.

La Freedom of the Seas era fino al 2009 la nave più grande del mondo, avendo già fatto due crociere con questa compagnia sapevo cosa aspettarmi perchè lo stile rimane lo stesso. Però la Freedom of the Seas ha molti servizi in più rispetto alle navi con le quali ho viaggiato, per esempio il simulatore di surf, l’area karaoke, la pizzeria Sorrento’s in cui poter mangiare pizza a volontà inclusa nel prezzo e poi la cosa più bella in assoluto due piscine idromassaggio a picco sul mare.

Quello che contraddistingue le navi Royal dalle altre sono sicuramente i servizi inclusi nel prezzo, tutte le attività che si possono fare una volta a bordo: piscine all’aperto, idromassaggio, sauna, bagno turco, palestra, arrampicata, campo da basket, campo da tennis, simulatore di surf, pattinaggio sul ghiaccio, un bar sulla promenade aperto 24/7 (compreso nel prezzo), pizzerie, ristoranti a buffet in cui è possibile trovare di tutto e di più. Adoro le navi Royal Carribbean perchè il servizio è eccellente, il personale è sempre super disponibile ed è come se ogni volta si salisse su una mini città dalle caratteristiche e dalla cultura americana. Non preoccupatevi, anche se a bordo la lingua ufficiale è l’inglese, il personale è multilingue e saprà aiutarvi nelle vostre esigenze.

La Promenade è come se fosse una via principale di una qualunque città, ci sono negozi, un pub irlandese, un negozio di cupcake, bar etc. L’intrattenimento a bordo non manca infatti ogni sera al teatro si può assistere a uno spettacolo messo in scena dalla compagnia della nave, giocare al bingo o assistere a un eccezionale spettacolo sul ghiaccio. Inoltre, per chi ha voglia di ballare esiste anche una discoteca. Il divertimento è assicurato!

Sulla Freedom of the Seas, così come anche su altre navi della stessa compagnia, potrete trovare un ristorante di lusso su tre piani in cui mangiare a colazione, pranzo e cena su turni differenti, il ristorante a buffett che si trova all’ultimo piano con vista mare (si mangia davvero a tutte le ore compreso aperitivo, merenda e buffet di mezza notte) e i ristoranti a pagamento per chi desidera cambiare durante la settimana. A vostra disposizione un ristorante italiano e il Johnny Rocket in cui poter degustare tipico cibo americano, tra hamburger, patatine fritte e anelli di cipolla.

Davvero sembra di trovarsi in una città galleggiante in cui poter vivere una vacanza di lusso, rilassandosi ma allo stesso tempo visitando ogni giorno un luogo differente. Gli itinerari nel Mediterraneo sono vari, quelli più gettonati toccano la Costa Azzurra, la Spagna e l’Italia. Svegliarsi in mezzo al mare, correre alle luci dell’alba sul 14esimo ponte, godersi il sole in piscina, visitare ogni giorno una città diversa, sono questi tutti i privilegi di una vacanza in crociera con Royal Carribbean!

Five is the number of cruises I went to in 27 years (with 4 different companies) and eight the number of countries I have visited during the journeys. And I still want to go on a cruise and for this reason I have visited the Freedom of the Seas on the 9^th July in Naples harbour. This is one of the amazing ships of the company Royal Carribbean. It’s the best for me after taking a cruise also with Costa and Msc. It has the best ships with the best services in the world of cruises.

Until 2009 the Freedom of the Seas ship was the biggest in the world then they have built other ships bigger than this one and in 2018 there will be the last one, considered the best and the biggest. The features of the ships of this company are more or less the same but compared to the ones I have taken during my cruises the Freedom of the Seas has more services to offer to its guests such as the surf simulator and two beautiful jacuzzi over the sea. Then on the famous Promenade that it’s like the real center of a city there is a Bar opened 24/7 where you can eat and drink whatever you want without paying an extra cost. And on this ship there is also Sorrento’s Pizza where you can eat pizza as much as you can!

Lunch: grilled fish, lemon and lime fish, beetroot, coconut rice, baked potatoes and fruit salad/Pranzo: riso al cocco, pesce grigliato, pesce al limone e lime, rapa rossa, patate al forno e insalata di frutta.

There is a lot of entertainment on Royal Carribbean ships, there is a theatre where you can enjoy a different show every night, you can try the ice skating, rock climbing, tennis, golf, basketball. You can dance all night long in the disco and relax by the pool. You can eat different kind of food depending on your demands. There is the luxury restaurant on 3 different floors where everyone can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at different times. Or there is the restaurants on the 14^th floor with a wide choice of food in a very big buffet. It’s up to you! And then, if you would like to change during your 7 days stay on the ship you can go at the Italian restaurant or taste the real American food at Jhonny Rocket fast food.

Being on a Royal Carribbean ship is like living on a floating city where you can have a luxury vacation with every kind of comfort and visiting different cities and countries every day! I think that you must go on a cruise at least once in your life! There are different routes, you can go on Royal Carribbean website to find the best one for you and book it!
