Walking around the undisclosed London: Little Venice

Spring is in the air even in a city like London where the weather is always cloudy and variable. There have been some sunny and pleasant days and I went around the undisclosed London leaving from the famous Camden Town market, I’m sure that you all know this place very well.You can find a lot of things to buy and to eat as well.

I have walked along Regent’s Canal enjoying the amazing atmosphere and all the boats of people who live there. Above the canal there is the famous Regent’s Park and the Zoo of London.

Walking for more than 1 km I arrived in the sugestive place called Little Venice that to be honest it looks like more as Amsterdam than the Italian Venice (but Amsterdam is called Venice of the North so more or less it’s the same). From the bridge in Warwick Avenue the view is really beautiful and you can also sit in the nearby gardens and enjoy the view. The nearest metro stations are Paddington and Warwick if you don’t like walking and prefer arriving directly to your destination.

I like discovering undisclosed places in London and walking around new districts. Every day I realize that I’ll never be able to visit all the places in London but I can try!

La primavera è nell’aria anche in una città come Londra sempre caratterizzata da nuvole e da un tempo molto variabile. Ci sono stati dei giorni davvero molto belli che mi hanno permesso di fare lunghe passeggiate e di scoprire posti nascosti e magari poco conosciuti di questa bellissima città. Partendo dalla famosa Camden Town ho deciso di percorrere il Regent’s Canal del famoso Regent’s Park (in cui si trova anche lo Zoo di Londra) fino ad arrivare a Little Venice. Camminando lungo il canale si possono osservare le tantissime barche ed un vero e proprio quartiere che ospita case galleggianti. Non sembrava nemmeno più di essere a Londra. Dal ponticello di Warwick Avenue la vista di Little Venice è davvero molto bella. Potrete anche sedervi su una delle panchine nel vicino giardino per godervi un pomeriggio di relax. La metro di riferimento è Paddington o Warwick se non volete camminare molto ed arrivare direttamente a destinazione.

Londra è davvero una scoperta ogni giorno e mi rendo conto che probabilmente non riuscirò mai a vedere tutta la città e le sue bellezze ma almeno posso provarci.
