Halloween in London

Il periodo dell’anno che preferisco è questo in cui il clima è frizzantino e l’inverno è alle porte ma soprattutto è il periodo di Halloween.

Io ho sempre festeggiato in grande, anche se forse ero l’unica che ad Avellino festeggiava questa festività, fino a qualche anno fa faticavo anche a trovare la zucca da intagliare e le decorazioni per la casa. Ora per fortuna le cose sono cambiate e posso sbizzarrirmi nelle decorazioni e nei festeggiamenti.

Quest’anno per Halloween sarò a Londra! Sono emozionatissima di vivere in Inghilterra questo periodo dell’anno, qui nella terra di Halloween! Non vedo l’ora di scoprire ogni piccolo particolare, di curiosare nei negozi e nei supermercati pieni di decorazioni, maschere, caramelle, cioccolatini a tema e di immergermi a pieno nella mia festa preferita (per saperne di più e per curiosare insieme a me seguitemi anche su snapchat: grazia.maietta).

-Partecipare a qualche competizione come quella della zucca più bella. Vicino a dove mi trovo io c’è una fattoria molto carina che organizza sempre qualcosa per Halloween. Quest’anno c’è la Pumpkin Carving Competition aperta a tutti dalle 13 alle 15 di domenica 30 Ottobre, presso la Mudchute Farm. L’ingresso è gratuito.

-Anche solo girovagare per la città in cerca di bambini che fanno “Trick or treat” alle porte delle case e godersi l’atmosfera è un ottimo modo per festeggiare.

This is the best period of the year for me! Winter is coming and Halloween too.

I have always celebrated Halloween since I was a child, I was the only one who celebrated this festivity in Avellino. Many years ago it was difficult to find the pumpkin to carve and the decorations for the house.

-Join a Pumpkin Carving competition. For example there is one near where I live in London at the Mudchute Farm from 1 p.m to 3 p.m on 30^th October.

-Just going around on 31^st October looking for the children that knock at the doors with their “Trick or Treat” is really funny!
